How it Works

Career mentoring is for people who know what they want to accomplish but need support to make it happen. Through regular check-ins and ongoing access, you’ll have a trusted partner to help you stay focused, navigate challenges, and celebrate progress.

Important Information

Mentoring is about structure as much as it’s about support. 

  • Kick-off Career Direction Session – 90 minutes: We’ll work through what you want to accomplish and create an action plan to keep you accountable. This includes everything in our standard Career Direction session.
  • Monthly Check-ins – 30 minutes: Regular phone or Zoom calls to ensure you’re on track, troubleshoot challenges, and adjust your plan as needed.
  • 1:1 Coaching Sessions – 60 minutes: Deeper dive sessions for complex decisions, skill development, or strategy work. Available in-person or via Zoom.
  • Unlimited Email Support: Sometimes you just need to ask a question or get quick feedback. I’m here for you between sessions.

Career Mentoring focuses on guidance and accountability. The following services are available separately:

  • Written feedback on resumes or application documents
  • Career assessments (values, motivated skills)
  • Full LinkedIn profile review
